General Fluidi ha been a long-time partner of Simem, historical company operating in the Verona area, which designs and produces cement mixers and water treatment machinery. In recent years, General Fluidi and Simen have been involved in the imposing project of the Panama Canal enlargement, that will be realized thanks to a new sequence of water locks. It’s one of the most important works now in progress worldwide. To do so, Simem supplies two batching plants, placed one on the Atlantic side and one on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal. These plants will produce over 5 million cubic metres of concrete in the whole projetc’s lifespan, thus becoming as one of the hisghest-capacity plants ever realized. General Fluidi designs and makes the oil-pressure activated system which serves Simem’s planetary mixers, highest demonstration of the cutting edge technology of planetary mixers, combining high efficiency, flexibility and reduction of maintenance time and production costs.
Once again, synergy and collaboration between two great Veneto companies have created a plant with the highest performances that has been chosen for an important project such the Panama Canal enlargement. This represents a pride fot the two companies, an award for their work and an appreciation for their experience and know how.
